Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly grease a large rimmed baking sheet, ensuring it can fit all mushrooms in a single layer.
- Cut off the bottom of mushroom stems. Wipe mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel. Halve any mushrooms that are too large.
- Place mushrooms in a mixing bowl. Add olive oil and quickly toss to coat.
- Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss mushrooms to evenly coat them with seasoning.
- Spread mushrooms in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Turn each mushroom stem-side down.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. Halfway through, remove the baking sheet from the oven, strain off the liquid, and immediately return it to the oven to maintain temperature.
- While mushrooms bake, melt butter and mix it with pressed garlic.
- Once mushrooms are done, transfer them to a clean mixing bowl. Toss with the melted butter and garlic mixture.
- Serve immediately.

- Make them even more garlicky– Mix in some freshly minced garlic with mushrooms before baking.
- Add a little spice – Crushed red pepper flakes add the perfect amount of heat.
