Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup club soda chilled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon unsweetened drink mix powder any flavor, like Kool-Aid or similar
  • 3 to 4 cups ice cubes divided

Method
 

  1. Pour the club soda, sugar, and drink mix powder into a high-powered blender. Add 2 cups of ice and blend on high for 30 seconds.
  2. Add another cup of ice and blend for another 30 seconds, until the slushie reaches your desired consistency. If needed, add up to 1 more cup of ice and blend briefly.

Notes

For a less sweet slushie, reduce sugar to 1/3 cup. Swap club soda with lemon-lime soda for extra fizz and sweetness.
